What's New With The Crew

Wow! What a great way to start the year off right! God is so good! He just blessed us with another precious little girl..."Rachel Leeann Haning" who was born February 15, 2010. She weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. What a blessing. Crystal and baby are doing great! Mom is starting to get stir crazy and is suffering from sleep deprivation! lol,lol,lol.

We are all so ready to get back into ministry, I can already feel the gitters! We will be taking bookings again starting in April. We are looking forward to all the great things that God will do in 2010.

Dave is doing great and at last call he said he had lost 200 lbs.

We are ready to get back into the recording studio and this time we will be recording with brother Dan Ward in KY. Brother Dan is an awesome friend and a good man of God...he is the real deal! Sometimes you meet folks that just talk the talk, but brother Dan walks his talk! We are looking forward to a great time in his studio!

Wow!  First it's been a while since our last blog but we've been busy.  We've been to The CT Center in Dayton, Ohio in October; headed South to Grayson KY & Olive Hill KY the end of October then back to Fairborn, Dayton & McArthur Ohio this weekend.  We're tired but most of all we're pumped up with the Spirit of the Lord!  What powerful - powerful services we've been in and we are really expecting God to open doors for revival & more singing the rest of 2009 & in 2010.

Each service was special & but most importantly the Spirit of God made himself known & HE took over and people were delivered, saved & healed!!  It's not about The Hanings by any means but it's about the ONE we are lifting up and that's JESUS!!

 Please continue to pray with us that God will open doors for us to sing & minister.  It's all about HIM!!!  His soon coming...

Wow! What a great time we had at "The Cowboy Church!" this past Tuesday Night! What made it soooo great you ask? Another new member of the family of God, that's what! We were so excited to be a part of this young man giving his heart to the Lord Jesus Christ! Now ain't that what it's all about any how? Ye-Haw!

God is so good! He is good all the time! Well, we are really going to be busy for the next 3 months, but we are all excited about what God is going to do next!

Sorry it's been a while since we put up a new blog.  We've found ourselves being busy with so many things.  We've been to Kentucky singing for Pastor Bob Burnett & the fine folks in Grayson.  Met some new friends along the way and gotten excited about recording another project hopefully early in 2010 (wow can you believe it?)...but we are so thankful for the all the open doors of opportunity that Lord has been giving to us. 

Jimmy & I also learned we are expecting baby #2, this has been exciting all though a completely different experience than the first one.  But regardless God is so good and He has been blessing and the most important thing is a happy & healthy baby.  

Today, we celebrated Mom's 63rd birthday...you'd never know how old she is...God has been good to her with good health & the ability to get around like a 20 year old.  She was quite surprised to come home to a house full of kids & grandkids and her own birthday party.  She is truly the jewel of our family crown!!

We look foward to our upcoming singings.  Many new places we are going this year...

Wow! What a blessing it was to learn that a man who was very down and out, came to Jesus this past week! Praise God! The Hanings had the very blessed and great priviledge of ministering at the Otterbein United Methodist Mission with Pastor Jeff Cartwright. Just after we finished ministering a man greatly under the influence of alcohol, came to me and started appologizing for his appearence. He had been in an altercation earlier that evening and received an injury to his eye.

I told him that all of that was in the past and that all Jesus cared about was the now! I thought no more of it until just a few days later when Pastor Jeff  told my wife Crystal that he had come back to the mission to talk to him and he gave his heart to Jesus Christ! Wow! Praise God! That's one more that the Devil lost!!!

Just a quick update on my brother David. David has now lost 139 lbs. since his surgery in April. God has really turned his health around for the good! David has not had to use his inhailers hardly at all. His breathing is 100% improved and he...

Greetings everyone! Jimmy here, I just wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone for all your prayers for David, I talked to Dave Friday and he told me that the biggest thing that he has noticed in his body is that he no longer gets out of breath. WOW! Just after about 2 weeks!

God is so good and we are looking so forward to getting down to some serious: Preaching, Praying, Siniging, Shouting and just flat out carrying on for Jesus! David has lost 33 lbs in his first 2 weeks. I knew that God would help him, but that is awesome!

We are hoping to get back in the studio this fall. We are looking forward to working with the good folks down at Eagle Recording, in Flat Woods KY. Brother Jeff just upgraded his equiptment and I can't even imagine how good things are going to sound now? The sound he got with his old stuff was out of this world!

We are also happy to report that brother Bobby Burnette's Dad has been miraculously healed! He was, as some of you know, loosing a lot of blood from his colan, but God has healed him! Again,...

Hi everyone!  I hope today finds everyone happy, safe, healthy and excited about what the Lord has in store for all his children who love Him and are called according to HIS purpose. 

First let me apologize for the delay in getting this updated information posted to our website.  This has been a hectic week for all of us.  Crazy weather and overall just a wonderful but exhausting time for The Hanings. 

We are very happy to report that David's surgery went very well and he is currently in the hospital recovering.  Everything went as expected but David is doing awesome at following the doctor's instructions and orders and seems to be progressing wonderfully.  He is doing his breathing exercises for his lungs and taking it easy.  I'm sure he'd love to have access to a computer so he could post a note of his own.  We are really hoping that Saturday will be the day he gets to go home.  The doctor told him he couldn't lift over 10 pounds for a few weeks, didn't you know David weighed his guitar to make sure he could still practice while he is recovering...lol!!  That's my brother-in-law!  I've already told him...

Happy New Year Everyone!  We hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season with your friends and families.  We had a truly blessed & happy holiday seaon starting with Thanksgiving all the way thru New Year's Day.  We got to enjoy all of our brothers &  sisters, Moms & Dads, nieces & nephews and all our friends. 

God really moved in our New Year's Eve service with all the awesome folks at the Grayson Church of God in Grayson, KY with Pastor Bob Burnett.  The Spirit was thick and we fed on heavenly manna as well as some good old fashion cooking as well.  We can't wait to go back and enjoy another service with those awesome folks!

We are so exctied about what the Lord has in store for The Hanings in 2009.  We want to be set on fire with the power of God and the anointing to see people healed, delivered & set free for His glory!  We are trusting & expecting God to open big doors for us.

We're also excited to announce that we have a new member to the band.  Our nephew, Jeff Frank, is playing with us now; we are so thrilled...

Wow!  Christmas is almost here, only 20 days away.  It seems like it was only a few months ago we were celebrating Christmas and the beginning of 2008.  Now we are about to celebrate Christmas again and welcome another new year 2009.

God has certainly been good to us this past year.  We have seenour new project come in and people be blessed by the songs that were recorded.  We've seen people come and go in our lives and lots of other things but what everything came down too was that God is good and He is good ALL the time.  No matter what we faced in our lives whether it was losing a job to a sick loved one God was always right there with us.  It's our faith & our belief in God that holds us strong & stead fast today.

With this ever changing world around us we need to have a firm foundation brothers & sisters.  We do not know what  lies ahead of us today let alone tomorrow or 3 weeks from now.  But for right now let's pause for a bit and reflect on the miracle of Christ's birht.  Regardless of what other people...

Sorry it's been so long since we have posted a new blog.  We've been busy working in church and trying to keep busy with singings.  Unfortunately Dave has been fighting with his breathing but we're thankful that God is going to help the doctors to help Dave but at least he's been writing some new songs.  Please keep Dave in your prayers.

I can't believe that we are getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving at the end of the month.  Seems like the summer time just flew by and the fall is almost over.  But it's time for us to reflect on what we are thankful for, but as Christians we should be celebrating Thanksgiving every day.

I could go on and on about all the things that I'm thankful for, my husband, my daughter, my home and even my job but the thing I'm most thankful for is the love & mercy of God.  The Bible says that "His mercies are new every morning"...WOW!! How awesome is that?  We struggle so hard with forgiving people and not holding a grudge with them but think about how much God shows us mercy.  To extend that clean slate to us every morning...
